Clancy "Crossfire" McCreedy was employed by Andover Cattle Company of San Antonio, Texas as a trail cook for a dozen drovers. Clancy developed this meat marinade to enhance the flavor of beef, chicken, pork and fish. His sauce, recipes and seasonings soon became famous throughout the west. Clancy soon retired from the trail and opened a bar & grill, it became famous beyond belief, three floors of fun and food. It wasn't long before a competitor broke in to steal Clancy's secret recipe book. A gun fight broke out, Clancy was fast on the draw and dropped the man dead in his tracks. Not before he himself took a bullet to the stomach, Clancy hid the secret book which until recent years was lost. When it was uncovered, it was returned to his rightful heirs and they have decided this stuff is too good to keep to themselves.
